A 5-star-rated World Qualifying Series event, The O'Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro presented by Ron Jon annually marks the return of high-level professional surfing to Florida’s best known break. The contest is sanctioned by the Association of Surfing Professionals and offers prize money of $1100,000.00 to competitors and valuable points leading to qualification on the prestigious 2009 World Championship Tour. The O'Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro presented by Ron Jon is directly tied into the semi-annual Surf Expo, which will be held in the three days following the event at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.
